A News and Images report Dhaka, July 21: United Liberation Front of Asom (Ulfa) member Ranjan Chowdhury and his Bangladeshi associate Pradip Marak were placed on a seven-day remand in a case filed under the Explosives Act on Wednesday. A court in Kishoreganj granted the remand prayer after Bhairab Police produced the duo before it seeking a seven- day remand. Earlier on Saturday night; Rapid Action Battalion-9 filed four separate cases, including one for possessing illegal firearms, against them with Bhairab Police Station.
