Third Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Ali Hussain passed the order Monday afternoon.

Dhaka, Aug 18: A man, suspected to be a hijacker, was killed when the gunman of former water resources minister and parliamentary standing committee chairman Abdur Razzak, MP opened fire.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at Gulshan-2, road-79, in front of the Pakistan High Commission.
Assistant Police Commissioner of Gulshan Zone informed News and Images that when housewife,Rehana Parveen, was going to Gulshan-2 from Kalachandpur on a rickshaw, 4 hijackers on two motorbikes stopped the rickshaw and snatched her bag.

Seven others also named in the killing case of the AL Ward-56 leader A News and Images report Dhaka, Aug 18: A murder case was filed with a Dhaka court on Wednesday against Awami League lawmaker Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shaon and seven others in connection with the killing of AL leader of Ward-56, Ibrahim Ahmed. Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Shahadat Hossain took the case into cognizance after the younger brother of Ibrahim, Masum Ahmed, filed the case with chief Metropolitan Magistrate court.

A News and Images report Dhaka, Aug 10: A speedy trial tribunal on Tuesday sentenced Fahima, wife of the outlawed Jamaatul Mujahidin Bangladesh (JMB) executed leader Siddiqul Islam alias Bangla Bhai, and two others to twenty years imprisonment. The speedy trial judge Md. Rezaul Islam delivered the verdict.
